PC :: For companies that wish to record login and logoff times from each employee’s desk, Tick-Tock’s Payroll Time & Attendance is designed out of the box to handle this. At present, Tick-Tock’s Payroll Time & Attendance is compatible with and works with the following operating systems, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP. Users can login from their PC. Data is collected from the local network and processed by Payroll Time & Attendance Server instantly. PC is the best solution for traditional office working environment where all employees have convenient access to computers, such as accounting and law firms, research institutes, etc., or, any kind of business where each employee has a dedicated computer. For those employees who do not have a dedicated computer, other devices are available. Touch Screen :: Each employee is assigned a unique ID number. When logging in/out at the front desk, users enter a unique ID number, from which each employee’s Login and Logoff times are recorded. Touch Screen enables a company to monitor employees’ login and logoff times via the front desk, for example, where a traditional time clock may not be appropriate. Touch Screens enables the most accurate employee monitoring, at the same time, maintaining a professional & cutting edge office appearance. Touch Screens are appropriate in any setting where employees enter and exit passing a company’s front receptionist desk, such as medical offices, hospitals, accounting offices, law firms, insurance companies, etc. Tick-Tock’s Touch Screen also enables a front desk receptionist to conveniently check at the click of a button who’s in and who’s not. Card Swipe :: Swipe card system enables each employee to log in and log off simply by swiping either magnetic cards or proximity cards assigned to them. Taking the place of traditional time clocks, Card swipe devices are the ideal solution for factories, retailers, manufacturers, groceries, etc. where employees are accustomed to punching Log Ins or Log offs on a clock. The difference, between card swipes and traditional time clocks is that card swipes record log in and log off times that totally eliminates time spent in manually adding time cards since Log Ins and Log Offs are electronically captured. Biometric :: Tick-Tock’s biometric device uses invisible light to read over 90 measures of the size and the shape of an employee’s hand to verify a person’s identity. To punch in, the employee first enters his or her ID number at the terminal, and then places his or her hand on the punch station. If the ID entered matches the hand image, the terminal stores the punch information and uploads it to Payroll Time & Attendance for data processing. For those companies which demand bar code scanners to track work in process, Tick Tock offers the ultimate solution, the Hand Punch with integrated hand-held barcode scanner. Biometric
is the best method to prevent buddy punching as well as presents the best
solution in maintaining a high security level in the work place where
a company needs to absolutely know whether or not its employees are in
or out. Companies will be surprised to learn that this state-of-the-art
hardware is only slightly more expensive than traditional card swipe clocks.
Fingerprint :: This method of recognition uses sensors located on 1”x 1” pod to read each individual's fingerprint pattern. To log in, employees simply enter their assigned unique Employee ID, then place their finger (left index finger is best) on the sensor. If the ID entered matches the fingerprint record, the terminal stores the login information and automaticaly uploads it to Payroll Time & Attendance for data processing. Combined
with a card swipe system, Tick-Tock offers the ultimate quick login solution:
instant fingerprint read with no manual entry of the Employee ID.
